Taylor Swift Scores Biggest First Week Album Sales Of The Decade

I’m not a big fan of Taylor Swift, but this news is just so impressive to me. I’m shocked beyond belief.

Nielsen SoundScan confirmed last night that Taylor’s new album Red sold 1.2 million copies last week, making it the second album in succession for Swift, after 2010′s Speak Now, to sell over 1m copies in the first week. ONE MILLION COPIES. WOW.

Queen Latifah’s Talk Show Gets Picked Up By CBS

Queen Latifah is set to host her own daytime talk show in 2013 on CBS. This will be Queen’s second chance at having a show, her first one started & ended in 1999 due to bad ratings.

This time around, with help from Will & Jada’s production company, the new show is expected to have a better run than the show in the 90′s. The show will feature celebrity guests, comedy, pop culture, musical performances and more (similar to Wendy Williams).
