The search is finally over. After the departures of L.A. Reid & Britney Spears, X Factor has chosen it’s judges for the upcoming season. Simon Cowell & Demi Lovato will welcome Grammy award winning singer Kelly Rowland & international pop star Paulina Rubio to the judges table.
Remember Melanie Amaro? The first winner on X Factor, who fell off the face of the planet the day after she won. Well Melanie has also fell from her label.
R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo is in talks to replace L.A. Reid on X Factor. I actually think this is perfect for him, he’s just as qualified as L.A. was. Ne-Yo is Senior VP at the legendary Motown Records & he’s an incredible songwriter as well.
Speaking with That Grape Juice, Ne-Yo Says:
“There have been a few conversations, but nothing is set in stone,” he said. “There’s been a few lunches and dinners but that’s all I can say right now.”
Ne-Yo’s singing career isn’t really working for him these days, so this is the perfect start for him to retire from it. Judge on X-Factor, VP at Motown, Songwriter, Ne-Yo’s bank will continue to increase! Hope this works out.
Veteran X-Factor Judge L.A. Reid says he won’t be returning for a third season. I know, sad right…He was much better to watch than Randy Jackson over at Idol. But back to X Factor, Reid says he’s leaving to focus on his record company in 2013.
Diamond White performed Beyonce’s smash hit “Halo” on the Top 12 Divas Week performance show on X Factor. In a song that’s very tough to sing, Diamond showed America that she has what it takes to win the competition.
